Lok Janshakti Party's Bihar unit headed by Ghulam Sasul Baliavi was on Sunday dissolved with immediate effect to revamp the party in the state.
LJP's Bihar incharge Rajkumar Mahaseth said in a press release that a decision to this effect was taken by the party's central committee.
A 14-member steering committee headed by Pasupati Paras, MLA and brother of party chief Ram Vilas Paswan has been constituted to suggest ways to strengthen the party in the state and form a new executive.
The committee was constituted at a meeting here yesterday under the chairmanship of senior party leader Ranjan Prasad Yadav.
