Nitish, Paswan Share Dais in Hajipur

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, while kicking off more than 2,400 new schemes to the tune of Rs. 511 crore in the state at Akshaywat Rai Stadium in Hajipur on Thursday, said politics had no place in the state when it came to its development and progress."We may belong to different parties and may even disagree with each other on a number of issues but when it comes to the development of Bihar, there is absolutely no disagreement between us," the Chief Minister said.Agreeing with Kumar, Paswan said that he has already obtained approval from the Central government to open a Rs. 200 crore National Institute of Pharmaceuticals in Hajipur. A processing plant in Hajipur by the Steel Authority of India Limited is also in the pipeline, the Union Minister for Steel, Chemical, and Fertilizer said.At the beginning of the ceremony, the Chief Minister lighted a torch and administered oath to the attendees to keep the district clean and hygienic.
