On the second day of the Art of Living convention in Patna on Thursday the spiritual leader Ravishankar surprised everyone when he asked the organizer and the district officials to open the gates for all those who could not afford to purchase tickets. As a result, the entire Gandhi Maidan was filled to capacity within minutes as thousands of bystanders rushed to grab the strategic place from where they could get a clear view of the guru who opened the day along with Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi. The guru then asked people to close their eyes and perform breathing exercise after which they participated in a yoga class comprising certain postures associated with attaining peace of mind.A laughing exercise was also suggested by the Guru who said laughter and a good sense of humor can extend one's otherwise tension-filled life.Other VIPs to attend the Thursday session of the 4-day Art of Living convention in Patna included former Chief Minister and Janata Dal (U) leader Jagannath Mishra and his family, Bihar State Assembly Legislation chairperson Uday Narayan Chowdhary, IG Rajvardhan Sharma, MLA Nitin Navin, and Patna division commissioner Ravindra Pawar.
