Judge's son found drugged in train

PATNA: Sourav Kumar, 20, son of Siwan district family court judge Satnarain Prasad Singh, was found drugged in the general bogie of Howarh-Danapur Express on Friday morning.

He was admitted to Danapur Railway Hospital where his condition is stated to be normal now.

According to Danapur railway police, Sourav was coming from Howarh on Thursday night after appearing at an examination there.

Since he could not get confirmed ticket, he preferred to board the train in the general bogie at Howrah station.

He took `Janata meal' from a railway vendor at Asonsol station. Soon after consuming meal, he fell unconscious and the cheats robbed him of Rs 5,000 cash and other valuables including costly clothes, the police said. Family members of the victim have been informed about the incident.

Investigation is going on, police said.
