CPI-ML (L) leader, wife shot dead in Bihar

Dehri-on-sone (Bihar), May 04: A CPI-ML (Liberation) activist Paramhans Kharwar and his wife were shot dead by unidentified assailants who also injured five others at Dehri in Rohtas district. The sub-divisional police officer of Dehri Mithilesh Kumar Singh said armed assailants raided the CPI-ML leader's house, pulled him out along with his wife Sarita Devi and gunned them down last night. Kharwar was then beheaded by the attackers, Singh said. Five villagers were injured when they tried to put up resistance. Old rivalry was suspected to be the reason behind the killing, he said adding raids were being carried out at different places to apprehend the killers.
