A district court here today issued a production warrant against controversial RJD MP from Siwan MD Shahabuddin and directed that the jailed leader be produced on march 15 in connection with a criminal case lodged against him for impersonation in an examination while he was absconding. Chief Judicial Magistrate Choudhry Vijendra Kumar Rai, who had earlier issued the production warrant against the MP about two months back for producing him in the court, issued a fresh order to Siwan Jail authorities to produce the Lok Sabha member in the court. The RJD MP has been chargred with appearing in the LLB Part (II) examination for another person at a Ramdayalu Sigh College Centre on September 30, 2005 even though he was facing warrants of arrest in several criminal cases. A couple of days before, Shahabuddin was sentenced to two years' imprisonment in a case relating to assault of CPI-ML workers in Siwan in 1998.
