Bihar official allegedly kidnapped

Patna, March 24 (IANS) A Bihar government official reported missing for four days is feared to have been kidnapped, police said Saturday.
Ravindra Kumar, an officer in the Debit Recovery Tribunal, has been missing since March 19.
"There has been no information about his whereabouts after he left office on March 19 evening," said a relative of Kumar, who stayed alone in Patna. Kumar's family was in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
Said Patna Superintendent of Police Anwar Hussain: "Police are treating it as a case of kidnapping and investigations are under way."
Kumar's wife Veena Vashini had earlier contacted Bihar Police from Lucknow and a formal complaint was lodged Friday.
