Five suspected Maoist rebels, including an area commander, were arrested in Bihar Tuesday, police said.Maoist guerrilla Vijay Ram, who was involved in the sensational Jehanabad jailbreak in 2005, was arrested from a village in Jehanabad district Tuesday.According to police, Ram had escaped from the jail along with mastermind of Jehanabad jailbreak Ajay Kanu, who was arrested last month and is currently lodged in Patna's Beur jail.Four other guerrillas were also nabbed from a village in Darbhanga district, about 100 km from here, during a search operation by a special task force (STF) team.The arrested Maoists were involved in several criminal activities, police said.The STF team also recovered arms, ammunition and Maoist literature from their hideouts.All the five arrested guerrillas were active members of the outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist), police said.
